Painting the Town Summary
Christchurch is one of the most dangerous places in New Zealand. If you visit Christchurch you will see some surprising things, from human faces hanging from buildings or animals leaping through invisible holes. Since the February 2011 earthquake many people lost precious things. So street artists decided to design murals for those who lost something or someone close to them. Artists from New Zealand designed some amazing art. The paintings can be as high as 3 storey buildings. The artists want to keep Christchurch beautiful again before another disaster happens again.
NZ and Ireland

The countries I chose was Ireland and NZ. It is said that Ireland is good luck because of the 3 leaf clovers...

Talofa Lava, My name is Gary and I am a year 7 student at Tamaki Primary School. I am in room 9 and my teacher is Ms Tracey. I am proud of my culture and I love spending time with my family. My favourite rugby league team is the Vodafone Warriors and my favourite basketball team is the Cleveland Cavaliers. My favourite sport players are Lebron James and Shaun Johnson. At home I have 2 brothers and I am the eldest. My mother's name is Sharon and my father's name is Sam. My hobbies are, watching T.V , sleeping and going for walks - sometimes. I live in New Zealand and my favourite animal is a Lion. This year I want to get better at maths because it’s a challenge for me. This year is going to be awesome! Fa Soifua!
