SBW information REPORT

My Hero: Sonny Bill Williams.

Purpose:	WALT - To write an information report that informs the reader about our chosen hero.
Title: What will the title of your information report be?	SBW Information.
Introduction: The opening statement that tells the reader what this information report will be about. This is followed by an interesting fact.	“Rugby players with goals succeed because they know where they’re going”. This is what I believe the rugby player I am going to write about does. Have you ever had a favorite rugby player and hero? Well my favorite rugby player and hero is SBW.  He played for 5 different rugby teams! Kiwis , All blacks , Roosters, Bulldogs and now played for the  Chiefs.
Paragraph 1 3+ sentences about the background information of your hero.	Sonny Bill Williams is one of NZ’s greatest rugby players. He was born in NZ on  August 3rd 1985. He also has 2  sisters and 1 brother. There names are Niall and Denise ( sisters ) and brother John . Another interesting fact is he is 1.94 m tall and weighs 108 kgs.
Paragraph 2 3+ sentences about the achievements of your hero.	Sonny Bill Williams has many achievements.But I’m just going to tell you 3. His first achievement is he and the All Blacks won the 2011 rugby world cup. 2nd He won a boxing match against Chauncy Welliver. And last but not least he and the Kiwi’s won the rugby league world cup in 2013.
Paragraph 3 3+ sentences of interesting facts about your hero.	Some interesting facts about SBW is he is a heavyweight boxer, he has a wife and her name is Alana Raffie. He also has a baby boy.
Paragraph 4 3+ sentences about how your hero inspires you.	Why SBW inspires me is because he represents our country well and he is a good role-model for little kids that dream to be like him. He also trains hard to play hard when he’s on the field.
Conclusion: A sentence that relates the achievements of your hero to the wider world.	Our world needs rugby players like SBW because  he and all the other players work hard to fulfil their dreams. If they weren't here rugby would be boring and nobody would want to watch it. And also rugby players need us because we provide them  with the money. I hope you enjoyed reading my information report about SBW maybe one day you can fulfil your dreams too.
