700 Blog Post Achievement!

IALT: Write about my incredible achievement of reaching 700 blog posts.

I am on my way to achieving my blogging goal for this year, which is to reach 1,000 blog posts by the end of this year. I think it's only been 5 - 6 weeks since I reached 600 blog posts, and now that I have reached 700 my goal of reaching 1,000 by the end of the year is looking very bright. Every since Willy came and showed recognition of me reaching 600 blog posts, I was determined to reach my goal with my head up and take the advice that Willy gave me , because I know it will help me a lot!

I wouldn't have done it without the support I got from both students and teachers because they helped me remember that as a leader of this school I need to inspire others around me with the work I share on my blog. This achievement just leaves me 300 more stairs to climb in order for me to reach the top. I would like to thank those who have made it possible for me to reach this achievement because leaving Tamaki would be hard, but I will leave things for the younger generation to learn from. Which is my leadership skills.

Also a huge thank you to Ms. Kyla for helping me reach the first 100 - 130 blog posts of my blog because I didn't know how to blog, and the expectations I needed to reach in order for me to be known as one of the best bloggers in the history of Tamaki Primary, and now look at where I am! Also Ms. Komor, for helping me and creating a blogging rubric I use to make my blog posts up to standard and enjoyable to read. 

I can't wait to reach 800 because it will continue to help me strive to achieve my goal. Something challenging I have come across while being the owner of this blog is not reaching the standard because I didn't know when I was younger, but ar at this age , of maturity, I strive to succeed.

Winter Learning Journey

IALA: A Winter Programme Learning Journey.

Today a lady named Rachael came in our class and talked about a Winter Learning Journey, in which was going to be starting and ending on the dates of the school holidays. I recognised her from previous visits, talking about the same thing which is Blogging! As a proud blogger here at TPS I have reached the milestone of 600 blog posts, my goal to reach 1000 before I leave. And right now I have over 650 which is amazing to me. She talked about the programme and the things you will be learning about. The theme for this learning journey is about 'New Zealand' we must learn about the awesomeness of the country we live in. 

She was talking about not many students from my school joining in , in the previous years she has hosted these kind of programmes. Willy Illy won 1st place while here at TPS and therefore I want to follow in his footsteps and continue to blog even though I have no teacher and friends to assist me. I have never been involved in these kind of programmes, so I'm thinking if I should join... But now I have to, because I am a proud blogger and good at blogging my work to a high standard. 

The best three bloggers with the most points at the end of it win a prize, in which all comes from New Zealand. It wasn't the prizes that motivated me to join, but helping me to achieve and continue to reach my goal. I want to represent my school with pride and show the others that we have the potential to do good and achieve great things, like Blogging awards and many more.

There is only 5 more days until it starts and well, I don't think I'll be able to blog on the first day as I have to leave to the Airport.

600 Blog Posts!

IALT: Write about my 600 blog post achievement.

It's been a long 3 and 1/2 years of being the proud owner of this blog. I first got my blog in 2014, when I was Year 5, now at the year of 2017, and past halfway through the year, I have reached the achievement of having 600 blog posts, all in total. Blogging for me has been one of the things I do best while here at Tamaki, I have always been told to blog to show proof of my learning, and work that is at standard for my age. My first blog post was 'All about me' back in 2014, my latest blog post was my 'Music Reflection' Something that I have enjoyed the most while having my blog is getting both, feedback and feedforward, it helps me to improve my work and complete my work at the expected level, Level 4. 

Growing up into the age of maturity I looked up to Willie, the best blogger in the history of Tamaki Primary. Once he left our school at the age of 13 he already have 1,000 blog posts, his huge achievement made me want to be like him, meaning if I blog 400 blog posts in the next 2 terms I can be the second best blogger! If I were to reach 1,000 blog posts I would be mind blown because it is a really hard thing to do but if you put your mind and effort into it, you can achieve anything.  Nothing in your way. 


My blogging goal is to reach the maximum number of 1,000 and be recognized as one of the best bloggers in the history of Tamaki Primary. But I might not.

A challenge I found during my time blogging, is not reaching the expected level, but now that I am grown up I am ready to accept any challenge.
