1st Day Of School Holidays!

It's 6:20am. I've woken up and decided to work on a task, each and every year 7 and 8 student was given an assignment to create a speech, depending on which topic you choose. I have decided to choose "Standing Up To Peer Pressure" All this means is surrounding yourself with good people, people who are always by your side in the darkest of hours. In our everyday lives we ALL go through peer pressure, and it's a normal thing. But today is also the 1st day of school holidays! I feel like going back to school, but having to wait  2 weeks to continue my learning, is like waiting for another century, also because daylight saving starts tomorrow. And the time goes by slow. So remember to turn your clock 1 hour froward guys! I don't know if my family have plans for the holidays but I reckon they will be awesome! Starting on from today, I will be posting blog posts about what's going on in the holidays in my home! 

Last day of Term 3!

Today is the last day of Term 3! I can't last a day without school! School is the only place where I can learn and build stronger relationships with my friends, It was awesome this Term, I can't think of a highlight and a lowlight. This term is a term I will never forget! I wish the holidays would go by faster! Remember guys put your clocks 1 hour forward, for daylight savings! Knowing that the time will go slow breaks my heart! But at the same time we will have more time to do things! Thanks to the teachers for all their hard work, at TPS... And to my friends who are always there for me! See you guys, next term! 

Buddy Class Movie

After interval today my class had the opportunity to finish the movie "Wreck It Ralph" We started watching the movie in KiwiCan on Monday! We watched the rest of the movie with our buddy class, Room 2! The highlight of this period was being able to have some popcorn while watching the movie. My highlight of the movie was being able to watch "Vanellope" become what she really was meant to be, instead of being a real racer, the king of "Sugar Rush" tried to delete her code. I think that the king was being selfish into not treating others the same!

Technology Reflection!

WALT: Reflect on our experience at Technology.

Today at Tech we haven't started creating anything, we just talking about the different things that you can make. The things that you want to make has to be a size that will be able to cut, and polish! I have decided to connect a cross and a heart together, today was also our last Technology for term 3. We made our own "Pewter Workbook" and have to work on it during the holidays! By the start of term 4 Mr Grundy said that we would be able to start making a pendants!

My highlight of this session was being able to find out new things about Mr Grundy, my lowlight was not being able to start creating our pendants! Another highlight was being able to sit on a stool for the whole of the both periods! Last week my stool got taken off me for breaking the rules. The rule was that "Stools have four legs for a reason!" Instead of obeying this rule I forgot and was leaning on my stool, therefore it got taken off my for 10 minutes. I had the opportunity to have my stool back but I rejected it, I decided to stand until Tech was finished!

Loud Shirt Day!

This Friday we are celebrating loud shirt day by wearing our LOUDEST shirt! We also need to bring a gold coin donations to help those with hearing problems become like us who can hear properly. Sadly, two people in our school having to wear hearing aids! Their names are Falakiko and Faith. It breaks my hear to hear that people have hearing problems!

The theme for this year is...

Mexican Fiesta!

I hope that people our there have the chance to hear properly!
