Golden State Warriors Kevin Durant Ruled Out With Knee Injury

I am learning to write about a injury Kevin Durant sustained while their loss to Washington Wizards .

Kevin Durant sustained an early injury to his left knee during Golden State's Loss to the Washington Wizards, it was a hard fought game with fouls bouncing out of nowhere. But in the end the Wizards out smarted the 2 time NBA champions. The team are preparing for what seems like 'forever' before knowing how long he could be sidelined. They said he would have to participate on a MRI exam. Results aren't expected until Wednesday but the Warriors aren't waiting to line up another forward.

Golden State will sign veteran swingman Matt Barnes, to take the place of Durant as he recovers from what looks like a 'holdback' With Matt Barnes being so proud of making it back into the Golden State team he posts up a picture of himself in the Warriors uniform from 2006-08 and wrote "Coming back to where it all started!"

It was only 93 seconds in the first quarter when, on Wizard's possession just under a minute in the game Marcin Gortat from the Wizards committing a foul pushing Golden State's Zaza Pachulia stumbling into the left knee of Durant. With pain emerging through his veins Durant gripped his knee in pain and then hobbled around a little bit. He didn't bother go off, until the Warrior's timeout and he started limping to the locker rooms.

It was also Kevin's first game against his former head coach , Scott Brooks, at the Oklahoma City Thunder, who joined the Wizards this season. It might be weird going up against your mate and boss but sometime you get over things quickly and put on a spectacular show.

To me I think that Kevin Durant should be able to recover from his injury and be back into dunking and shoot some three-pointers. Although he isn't going to play for who knows how long, his position is taken by a veteran player, a player who knows what it feels like to stop playing due to physical injuries. When Kevin was with the Thunder he and Westbrook had a bond that was unbreakable and unstoppable, now they have split the two have beef together and they shouldn't fight after what they had for so may years.

I get why Kevin left and sometimes you gotta accept someone's decision no matter how bad it is. I enjoyed finding out about Kevin because it sounds like his leg is pretty beefed up and needs some time to fully heal. I think that this article is great because it tell me why he's out and how.

What are your thought's on this article?
