IALT: Write about the All Blacks revealing their new $150 jersey!

The All Blacks have revealed a new jersey they will be wearing in their first test match against the British and Irish Lions. The number one team in the world will play the first test against the Lions on the 24th of June, but will likely wear it against Samoa a week earlier in Auckland. All Blacks Sam Cane, Anton Lienert Brown and Sam Whitelock revealed the new jersey this morning alongside captain Kieran Read at the adidas store in NewMarket.

The Lions landed in Auckland today, the 2nd time here in New Zealand. The main difference to pervious strips is a new crest with the features the years 1904 and 2017. The jersey is already on sale for $149.99 at Rebel Sport. Meanwhile, Adidas has announced extending it's commitment with New Zealand Rugby until 2023.

New Zealand Rugby CEO Steve Tew said they'd enjoyed "an exceptional and prosperous relationship" with adidas since the first deal was signed in 1999. He has also said that Adidas is not just a sponsor but a real partner in our game.

To me I think that the All Blacks deserve to be sponsored by Adidas longer because they represent our country, with pride and joy. Revealing a new jersey to the public is just one of their 'tricks' I like to watch the All Blacks because their game plan is just extraordinary, their trainings should help players give 100%. I hope that they win against the Lions and continue to thrive for success.

Many thanks.

Former All Black Sione Lauaki Has Passed Away

I am learning to reflect on an article about former AB player Sione Lauaki's death.

Sione Lauaki played 17 tests for the All Blacks and he was an enormously destructive forward, but he has passed away from suffering kidney failure. He attended Kelston Boys High and from there on he played for the New Zealand Colts, creating his Auckland debut in 2002. His commitment and fitness was doubted early, he then made his debut for the Chiefs in 2004, and made hit test debut against Fiji at Albany in 2005.

He was also apart of the All Blacks squad that contested the 2007 World Cup, he played against Italy, Portugal, Scotland and Romania in pool games but he was then suspended for two games after high tackling a player in the Romanian team. He played in France, but struck major health problems and was reported to be living in Rarotonga.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs are dedicating the rest of their Brisbane Global Rugby Tens campaign to the memory of Lauaki. Laukai was a 70-cap stalwart for the Chiefs in Super Rugby. Liam Messam who is the Chiefs captain has been given permission to fly home immediately after their quarter final games against the Queensland Reds on Sunday. "There's a number of guys who played a lot of footy with Wax," Chiefs coach Dave Rennie said.
"Liam Messam, in particular, is a great mate of his so it's been a pretty upsetting morning.

What do I think of this article?
Well to be honest I never really knew that Sione played for the Chiefs, and I've been watching the Chiefs play for a while now. But I think that after reading this article it seems that I have learnt a lot about him. Something I enjoyed about this article is that many other footy stars are paying tribute to his death by posting up statuses on Twitter and dedicating their love for Sione. Something that I found challenging was just picking out some key facts to create my reflection to share for the world.

Sad to hear the passing of @SioneLauaki. Love and prayers to the family.🙏

Damn. It's a sad day today, rest easy dox @SioneLauaki 💔

Thanks for having the time to read my reflection.
