IALT: Write about the Cavs and Warriors going head to head in the finals for the third successive year.
Once again, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors will go head to head in the NBA final once again, today at 1:00pm the first round of the series will begin. It will be another exciting series as they went head to head last year in the same situation. To see who will be the 2017 NBA Champions. The match was finalised after the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics in a 4-1 series. Any easy win for the Cavs, same to the Warriors, they beat the San Antonio Spurs 4-0.
The game was LeBron James become the highest scorer in NBA play-off history, surpassing Michael Jordan’s record of 5987, with a 35-point effort for the Cavaliers.That helped the visitors ease to a 135-102 victory that wrapped up a 4-1 series victory and clinched the Eastern Conference. It is the seventh successive year James had lead his team to the finals.
What are my thoughts on this article?
Well I am a huge Cavs fan, and so therefore I am thinking that they will win for the 2nd year straight. Although the Warriors, are known to be the best team in the NBA I still think the Cavs have a chance of overcoming them and be the 2017 NBA champions. Although the Golden Warriors have had a better season then the Cavs, they still have a chance of beating the Cavs.
Going back to last year, both teams had a good chance of retaining the trophy but in the end, the Cavs had the better skill set and Teamwork. I hope the Cavs beat the Warriors in their first match today. #UpTheCavs
