IALT: Talk about the New Zealand Warriors Losing to the Manly Sea Eagles.
Yet again, after being up 16-0 the Warriors have lost to the Sea Eagles in Perth. The home side let their defence down in the first 16 minutes giving an easy 3 back to back to the Warriors side. With them being up by 16 they would have sealed the win off right? Well, playing up until the halftime hooter went, the Warriors didn't know what was coming and then from there on they let the Eagles score giving them a 16-16 tie. Again, the Warriors didn't have the skill set to protect their lead, similar to when they faced the Penrith Panthers, they let them win the game after being up, by a reasonable margin.
At first the Warriors looked like they had it, easy piece of cake. But once the second half started I had doubt that they would win, it seemed like the Warriors were getting more tired and exhausted as every second went by. The second path kept going, second by second, minute by minute until the Eagles had a 4 point margin over the Warriors. Desperately they tried to break the line, with cross field kicks an option but quickly shut down by the Eagles defence.
Dummy half runs, were one of the best ways to break the line but once again no one was there to support the player often losing possession of the ball and handing it over. Tom Trbojevic , the Eagles Full Back scored a try and both performed some excellent defence. The Warriors too, also had some stunning performances , a young player on debut for the Warriors scored tow tries, an excellent way for him to start off his career.
The Eagles managed to extend their wins to 5 in a row, with 26 unanswered points over the Warriors, after being down by 16 to winning 26-22. For the Warriors however, they failed to extend their wins to 3 in a row after beating the Titans and Bulldogs in the last 3 weeks. The Eagles still remain in the top 4, when will the Warriors be better?

Many thanks :P
