I am learning to reflect about Hope the Rhino's DEATH.
Hope, the rhino that took the hearts of millions have peacefully died. The 6-year-old Rhino doesn't have a pleasant background, she was darted, then the poachers hacked off her horn along with some parts of her skull. Then left her to die. She had then been relocated to an animal rehabilitation centre by endangered animal rights group. She was then given abdominal surgery, with the hope of recovering from her horrifying injury.
It is believed she died late on a Sunday from bacterial infection she picked up earlier this month.
Her death prompted an outpouring of grief on social media, with many people expressing their grief. On a post on Monday morning , Saving the Survivors wrote "It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that Saving the Survivors has to share the devastating news that our beloved White rhino cow, Hope, is no longer with us."
She has strongly faced all odds when she was attacked April last year. I don't see a way why people would kill endangered animals.... DO they want them to be gone?? Not only is their horns worth a tonne of money but what if all Elephants and Rhino's were gone? That would mean no future for the upcoming generations. I am against the poaching if Hope because it just shows how immature poachers are.
