After reading an article about unusual places to stay around the world  I was amazed by the different angles and shapes of different hotel rooms across the world. Like the barrel shaped hotel hanging 400 metres of the ground, and the treehouses located In kaikoura. It's like “WOW” Do they really exist?

Anyway I will be talking about africa’s first underwater hotel room 13 metres below the surface. The best time of the year to rent this hotel room is summer, the reason for this is because you get to glimpse the different species of marine life swimming around your room and the bright sun shining down on your hotel. The hotel is located in africa and i live in new zealand which means the distance between the hotel and me is 13,156 km.

It costs 1,500 a night to stay there, which means only if you earn loads of money you could stay there for about a week. There a many benefits for staying in an underwater hotel, but i'm only going to say 5. A benefit for staying there is you could learn more about the different marine animals that stop for a quick peek around. Another benefit is that you could go for a swim every day, if you wanted too. Being able to swim everyday will help your grow more fit and healthy.

You could learn more about the marine life. And you could go fishing from time to time.

Now for the downsides. What if a water disaster occurred? What if you had no digital connection? WHAT if you didn’t have Wifi? Those are all downsides but the main thing is … What if you didn’t have any food or water? I know you're surrounded with water and food, including fish etc. But let’s get real guys What if you didn’t?

1. Bomb off the top of the hotel, do some manu’s!
2. Have movie night, watch the marine life
3. Sunbathe on top of the hotel, grow some tan
