Chinese Language Week

This week is Chinese Language Week, Did you know that Ice Cream was invented in China 2,000BC? For Chinese Language Week we created Lanterns, lanterns are mostly used in Chinese Traditional Items. It was easy because you just needed Paper, Scissors and a Stapler.  I made a Red lantern with facts on it. Here are some facts about China:

China is the fourth largest country in the world
Each year is represented by an animals
China has the second-largest standing army and second-largest defense budget
100 million people live on less than US$1 per day
China use 45 billion chopsticks per year
China is the world's largest exporter and second-largest importer of goods
The world's first paper money was created in China 1,400 years ago
In China, over 35 million people still live in caves
Nearly 700 million people drink contaminated water
Almost a third of San Francisco's air pollution comes from China
Table Tennis is China's national sport.

There is so many facts about China, so searching up them yourself will help grow your knowledge about China.
