I am learning to research facts about the Country Canada.

Today for S.S.R I am learning to research facts about the country Canada.

Canada is the second largest country in the world, right after Russia, it is also the most educated country in the world, over half its residents have college degrees. Canada also has more lakes than the rest of the world's lakes combined.

Canada is a North American country stretching from the U.S in the south to the Arctic Circle in the north. In order to call people living in Canada you will have to use their dialling code which is +1. Like us Canada do not have a president just a Prime Minister, while our Prime Minister is John Key the Canadian Prime Minister is Justin Trudeau. The population of Canada is 35.16 million! That is well over our population at 4.471 million. The currency in Canada is the Canadian dollar, Canada has spectacular sights with Niagara Falls located there, Niagara Falls is one of the most beautiful sights in the world! 

Canada and New Zealand have some similarities, both Canada and New Zealand experience all 4 seasons in the calendar year. We also have spectacular lakes and rocky mountain vistas. 


Here is my reflection about the country Canada?
I enjoyed writing about this because my teacher Ms Komor is from Canada and she has a very unique accent. Something I found hard was finding the similarities with both NZ and Canada.
