Kiwis aim to stop chocolate being made overseas

IALT: Write about Kiwi Companies aiming to stop chocolate being made overseas.

Pineapple Lumps, and Jaffas chocolates have been made overseas for a long time. Now New Zealand companies are bidding to stop these chocolates being made overseas, Jaffas and Pineapple Lumps are manufactured in Cadbury Dunedin Factory which was set to close in 2018. The deadline passed last week for formal expressions of interest from New Zealand companies to pick up the contract. The factory has received expressions of interest, the are reviewing more options and would give out more information and updates near the future.

What are my thoughts on this article?

I'm not a big fan of Jaffas, but I love eating Pineapple Lumps. Something tells me to agree with the decision of the Factory because they are going to be shut down in 2018, which is less then a year away. But at the same time I still think that Chocolate should still be made overseas because it gives companies overseas the chance to show that they can make chocolate without having a problem.

Something I enjoyed during this time was being able to read about Kiwi Companies bidding to BAN chocolates being made overseas. My next learning steps is to choose a harder article with more information.
